You could start with 15 minutes and work it out to 30 minutes or even an hour if you are comfortable with it.

 

A second great remedy for migraine headache during pregnancy is a simple cold shower. You can take cold showers as many times as you need. It has been observed that cold water can relieve the pain caused by migraine by effortlessly constricting the dilated blood vessels in the body.  In case you cannot take cold showers for some reason you can try splashing ice cold water on your face which could relieve the pain.

A third way to effectively deal with migraines during pregnancy is to stay physically and mentally relaxed as much as possible. Avoid stressful situations as much as possible during this time. If you end up going through some stress then be aware that you should perform some stress relief techniques afterward.

 

Some stress relief ideas would be things like deep breathing, yoga, aromatherapy, a complete body message or spending time working on a favorite hobby as long as it is relaxing.
